Largely Self-Taught, the Artist credits his high-school art teacher with shaping ideals that would last thoughout his life. Some 30 years later, while hospitalized following a complete breakdown, his love of putting his deepest fears, joys and other emotions on paper and canvas were re-awakened by Expresive Therapy under the guidence of his therapist, Carol. The support understanding  by his partner of 24 years, Thom, has made it possible to devote time to art to express himself and heal.

For those who know his art,  even his commissioned work is unmistakeably recognizable as a product of his soul.
